Ode to the Evo

When you see an old Camero you think, my car is better than that one, more advanced, maybe faster? However when the older man steps out of that car you understand that thats the car he always wanted, the car that robbed him of sleep the night before he bought it, the car that defined his enthusiasm for the automotive world.
One day I'll be an old man, I'll drive my Evo to the store and see the "Young Punks" of a new generation of enthusiasm for our fine world of cars and they will think my car is outdated and slow.
So heres to the Evolution and all the peole that make it possible, may we forever be changed by what we love.

but perhaps we will be able to just keep upgrading our evo's to compete with those young punks in their new rides.

Ha ha. I stood up, took my hat off, spit out my chewing gum, and put my right hand over my heart just to read that.

Ok do you think it will go back to what its like now? "Our V-8's will smoke y our 4-bangers/rice" and vice versa, well what is out debate going to be?

My Propane and/or electric car has a bigger battery than yours? i can get 400 HP out of my solar charged vehicle compared to your 4-cylinder, what are we going to call the kids we are now in 20 years?

NICE ODE! I don't have an evo apparently, I have an RA, but that ode is still a badass statement. I always felt the same, because I dislike old cars now, I keep on wondering if the future generation of kids would dislike the cars I grew up with, this has shwon me to respect older cars! I also wonder how 'gas' will play an effect on future gen cars
