I'm surprised at what I'm reading here. If no one can see the value of paying 5k more for a one-year newer car with 30k less miles that is worth FAR MORE than the Rex both new AND used, then I just don't know what to say. Yeah, his Rex looks really nice, but performance-wise, it's still not close to a stock Evo. He can probably make quite a bit on the Rex parts if he goes back to stock, too.

I like what you did with the wrx. If you decide to go with the evo you won't be sorry. As long as you know that he didn't abuse it I would go for it. Or better yet if you can afford it trade it in for a 06. I had a 2002 wrx before the evo and I think it's the best choice I've done when it comes to cars to this point. The way the evo rides is just so different to the wrx it makes an ok driver seem like a great driver. It's just so easy to drive that car hard, it does everything you ask it and more. Now don't get it twisted you have to respect it cause you'll think you can do anything in the car and that could get you in trouble, just look at how many people have already crashed the new 06s. Don't worry about selling the mods you have they'll sell and then you'll have money to mod the evo. Well good luck with your choice.

I think he said he already paintd it. You can see it change from silver to white in the pics, unless my eyes are deceiving me.

Yup, you are correct sir. I read it quickly and thought he was thinking about painting it.

Tell your uncle to trade you cars for a few days, drive the Evo around, and see which you like better

I had a wrx that looked almost exactly the same. JDM lights, sidemarkers, etc. At first I was kinda regretting my purchase, but after having the EVO for a couple months I am totally loving it. I would say get the EVO, that is a killer deal and the car is stock, which is hard to find. SO much more potential in the EVO, its an amazing car.

That is a good idea, you'll never be sure until you drive both.

thats a great deal for the evo. I dont know how anyone HERE or on NASIOC could possibly tell you to keep your rex. Its got far less potential than the evo, and you're getting an awsome trade.

If it was an '05 Evo I would agree with you.
