the 4g63 has been around for some time.
i just hope mitsu's new aluminum cylinder block and clutchless 6 speed auto-manual transmission fits the bill.

All the latest info I've read this month states they'll continue with the 4G63. I think the new aluminum engine stuff came from the arrangement with Chrysler which we now all know is dead.
