Recaro Furious racing shell question

I'm looking to fit the Recaro Furious racing shell to my EVO 8 MR RS.
However I'm looking what I should need to install it into my car.

- Seat (obvious )
- steel side mounting
- slide bar

Is that all? And the main question, what slider should I take to fit into my EVO 8 MR RS?

0.76.3 Track Kit (Outside bar, w/ tabs) UNIVERSAL SLIDERS FOR ADAPTER $ 105.00

Thanks in advance!

If you call the Vendor they should be able to tell you all the hardware that you will need to install it into your car. Just so you don't forget to get something thats no so obvious.

i'm not sure how they name their stuff... but you need an evo specific mouting base... you will not be able to have sliders without one. if you are planning on using your factory mounting base then you don't even need sliders... just remove the sliders from your factory seat.

the thing is side mounted seats are too wide to fit a slider's bolt pattern (if you can call it that, more like bolt positions) so what happens is you need either something from recaro that takes care of that or you get custom plates that allow you to adapt the side mount brackets to the sliders.

so picture a big tic tac toe # the verticle pieces are the sliders... they'll bolt to the horizontal pieces, and the horizontal pieces "reach" out to where the side mounts are.

you can get a "universal" base from sparco that is made for the evo... this will allow you to drill in the appropriate places to get the sliders to fit. the recaro stuff looks kinda expensive and i don't know what they mean by bar and what not.

don't think you can get the mounting base off the stock seats without doing damage.
if you are going to use harnesses you might want to get a sturdy mounting base so you can mount the harness to them.

you won't do any damage... you just unbolt the slider from the stock seat and the rest you use as is.
