Dont buy it back. Water has a nasty habbit of destroying everything. It displaces things like motor oil and transmission oil -- just leaving behind rust. It will also trash a lot of the electronics as well as the interior. Things like wheels and body panels will probably be OK so things will look better then they actually are.

Sorry to hear dude. This weather we've been having out here has been nuts. Usually the Evo owns in this weather but, as you've discovered, she's most vulnerable when she's parked. I'm sure the IX will be a blast though and I hope things work out as well for you when replacing the Jeep. I know from experience that Mopars don't hold their value worth a damn.
