Watertown MA????? Heh, one of the guys in my office lives there. Know Kamran Favakeh? We work in Canton.

I live in Middleboro.

06 MR... I dunno if they will total it. My 05 MR last year I got in an accident and it was 24k in damage and they fixed it.

better hope they total it out caus you will never be happy with that car back... I would fight as hard as I could to get a new one. Did you have gap insurance?

Damage costs are not the only thing they look at when thinking about going "total loss" on a vehicle. They also think of saftey aspects and how road worthy the car would be.

With that much damage, I'm betting it will be considerd totaled.

Even if it's fixed to perfection it will have a record of being in a significant accident. Meaning that when you go to sell and the buyer does a car fax, you'll get a fraction of blue book.

the value of the car isn't the sticker price. It's what the car is worth now. If you paid 34 for it, it's probably only worth 32 at most. I'd say it's totalled. Sorry to hear about your loss.

what exactly got damaged? i dismantle Salvage cars ,and i know what stuff insurance and body shops will go for it to fix it...did the front end got severely damaged? not just fenders and bumper but ,did the radiator core support got damaged? the body and drivetrain they can fix,not the main frame of the car because is so new i dont think they will find another one to cut and salvage like a front end or a roof ...half of that appraisal is work and half is parts cost...if there is a lot of damage on the left or right corners and not just the middle ...you might get a new car soon ...
