need to get rear bumper clean!

Any suggestions on what to use to clean the exhaust yellowness off of your rear bumper? I got lazy for a few weeks here in NJ for the winter, and didnt clean it for a while.....and now i cant seem to get it off...

I would prefer not to use an exhaust shield if possible...

thanks

What is the yellowness from? You mean the soot from your exhaust?

Try using some wax maybe?

I haven't seen anyone actually got that stuff off the bumper, unless perhaps scrape off the paint and repaint it, try to use a guard against the exhaust so it won't get any worse.

one thing that i know is pretty powerful, but i wouldn't leave it on at all i would actually put it on a rag and wipe it on and then immediatley folloe it up with some speed detailer of some kind is a product called "Super Clean" It usually comes in a purple spray bottle. Anyways i spray it on my rims before i wash it, and it takes off all of the brake dust that they collect from the stock pads, but i usually wipe them afterwards anyways. i mean i have sprayed it on the paint of my old car for occasions like yours and it works, but it would eat thru the clear coat if it wasn't washed off, i'm not 100% on it eating thru the clear coat, but its pretty strong stuff give it a try and let me know if it works

Try like some windex or somthing? I heard that stuff can remove wax from the car, just make sure you re-wax the spot afterwards.

Cleaner Wax damnit, I just told you how to get it off. I have a test pipe on the car and have to clean the soot off my bumper once a week.
