Question Looking into getting a used evo, need advice

Hey everyone. Im finally going to start looking into getting an evo. I will either get an 03' or 04'. I was wondering what I should look at when getting the car, like how to tell if it was beaten to death or not and things of that nature. Any key differences between and 03 and an 04? Are HID's standard on both? I appreciate any input.

i would also get the VIN on the car, take it to another dealership, and ask for all its previous repairs done by mitsu, if there were any at all. I would take it to another dealer just in case the one that you were at was gonna hold it out on you.
