I still owed the $3k which they said i could pay at the end of the month.

So i was like yeahhhhh you better fix this. and they was like yeah np just make sure u give us our money. (down payment)

not really. usually you get like 1000-1100 or so miles and if the clutch goes out between then they're somewhat obligated to do it free.

or something like that

Only if there is an obvious defect in the clutch assembly. They won't do it if it's just worn or has hot spots. From this guy's past threads and antics and "car meets," it's much more likely he screwed up trying to show off or with poor driving.

well of course. if he beat the hell out if it then they'd probably open it up, look at it, and put it back and charge him for their time.

Price of bodywork varies greatly from shop to shop, average for most places is in the 250 to 300 range but can go all the way up to 500. Go to a shop that you know someone has gotten work done by otherwise you might end up paying double to have it repainted again.
