Whats the deal with 16year old's

wuts with all these stereotypes? i agree to some of wut u all are saying. im 17, and i own a P.O.S. crapy car or not u can stillb e stupid and wreck it. it just depends on how hard u wanna hit the tree and how expensive u wanna get. age is half of driving. if u bring ur 12 year old to parking lots utnil hes 16, hes sure as hell gonna be more comfortable behind the wheel than a 16 yr old who just went through drivers ed. raod time is the only way. expirience is the main thing. just cuz ur 23 or 40 dont mean u automatically kno how to drive a car. if uve never driven be4 ur gonna be just as crappy as a 16 yr old. its like sex, practice makes perfect, not age. age is associated with expirience and u cant always do that.

i am gonna say the same thing i said in another thread
my younger brother started out with a plymouth laser at the age of 16. at the late age of 17, he bought a crashed wrx, and fixed it up. he paid for it ALL CASH! he just sold it a couple months ago, and upgraded to an sti at the age of 19, paying for it from his pocket. he is accident free and points free. that is a sign of responsibility and maturity. i just turned 22, and he is MUCH more mature than i am.

oh, my insurance is high from 16 year old's
oh, i got my warranty denied because of 16 year old's
oh, i am getting stopped by cops all the time because of 16 year old's
you morons, shut the F*** UP! you need to start looking at your selves and stop bashing others.
hes got an evo, and there is nothing you can do about it. let him embarrass himself, let him act immaturely. his threads and posts dont offend anyone and they surely don’t break the rules. muslim, post away. Don’t let these morons get to you that easily

sorry to say, but around here it seems like evo's are the hot item on little billies xmas wishlist this year....1 out of every 5 evo's around here are owned by kids under the age of 18. they drive like theyre king **** because they have a 30k+ car that they didnt pay a dime for..they have no respect for anyone else on the road. of course theres the ricers in their civics and accords and integras. personally i know tons of people with fast and very respectable hondas that they have built themselfs(including me and my cousin)...but these KIDS in my area choose to degrade the evo's name
dont get me wrong, one of my best friends has an evo 9 mr...BUT he's paying for it all...hes also building his credit on it i truely like evo's. if i were in the market for a new awd car for under 35k i would DEFFINATELY go for one. but around here it just seems like evo's are getting neglected...the other problem is, mommie and daddy buy the kids MODS to make their time bomb tick even faster (THANKS MA)
maybe thats now how the evo world really is, but in NOVA even my friend who just bought his MR will say the exact same thing.

There are kids around here whose first cars are prosche’s. It sucks, really. You see them on the road and it’s pretty clear that they can’t handle it and those that think they can soon learn what happens when you collide a car against stationary objects at high speed. And soon after what happens when you collide a repair bill against their parent’s bank account. The plus side is that some realize very soon that they really aren’t cut out for such cars, sell the sports car and get a nice comfy merc instead. Unfortunately some think that in their porsche’s/evo’s/M3’s/Sti’s they’re motor racing’s hottest undiscovered talent even in parking lots and ruin it for everybody.
Part of the problem, oddly, is down to the fact that parents have NO IDEA HOW FAST THESE CARS REALLY ARE. To them, an evo just a car their son/daughter wants, and sadly to many parents, buying their kids things is the only thing they know how to do. Now this isn’t to say that the kid in question is not to blame. Since not every young driver behaves in this rather anti-social manner, it is also down to the kid in question. So, there you have it. It’s both the kids and the parents. And it would make sense since your behavior and characters are formed by your upbringing and genetics.
For those of us who are young and drive/behave responsibly, be very proud of yourselves. The world needs more of you, and a lot less of the other kind.

group hug everyone, come on!
i used to be one of those "kids", now i hate when ppl rev up to me, in the evo or honda, its annoying, but im not afraid to lay down a *** whoopin (or take on) either. a challenge is a challenge, when u have a nice car like the evo its going to happen, theres no way to stop human nature and ppl being cocky. ppl wanna see where there car stacks up, even if its a 1996 civic ex non vtec or a corvette z06 or a nsx or a astro van on dayton 22"'s and on and on.

Im 17 and on my 2nd car which is a TB IX
My previous car was a 04 G35 Coupe. Im a safe driver and know how to drive and not be stupid.
I believe I can handle these cars, and have proven over 2 years, with no tickets and no warning that I really can.
