#1- decide what your end goal is, ie drag race, auto x, track or daily driven and what hp numbers would you like to meet.
#2- use the SEARCH feature! there are 1 million + threads like this...
#3- SCCA/NASA/PCA open track days will help the driver more than any bolt on! you'll also see just how much power your Evo really has!

You know f u c k you Silverbullet. I read through this all the time. But since there are so many options and I sometimes hate to wade through excessive bullshi t which can be found in spades on this forum...it doesn't hurt to type or to at least point in the right direction. I don't spend 100% of my time on this forum, but I do enjoy my enjoy and I know a few things. But I respect the forums members' opinion enough that I am willing to ask about what to buy for a 30K car on parts that will usually go into the thousands when it is all said and done. So either contribute or shut the f u ck up!
Evo_speedkiing: I will check out the SCCA to see what is the closest Auto X and road tracks around Miami.

Evo_Speedking ideally I would be comfortable with 350-450 whp. I do want to Auto-X and do some track time but this car is my daily driver due to my wife driving around in the Equinox. Miami so far seems to be a dead zone with road tracks though.

WOW! Never thought only a 100 hp in that small a range would be such a bug difference in price. Hmm...ok I shall settle on 375 then. That seems to be the avg around here that a lot of people are satisfied with.

I wouldn't say that 375whp is the avg, but you know, whatever. You can get there with cams and alky, but it's a lot tougher on an 03 and will cost a good bit.
Btw, I only have ~300whp and am pretty happy running very low 12s while also whoopin it up at the road course and while autocrossing. 375whp can be done, though, so if that's your goal, then plan accordingly.

Well I guess it all depends on my satisfaction. I thought you needed more than 300 to hit low 12's. I will look into your parts individually some more and start calculating how much that is going to cost me. If some marginal gains are good enough to propel me on the track then maybe I will be satisfied with much less than I originally thought.
