Man, you had a bad weekend, I would pull the bumper off and inspect behind it before making any decisions also.

Look under your carpet in trunk and check the back carefully to make sure that frame is not bent.

Slim jims do work on our cars. I locked the keys in the car a year ago and the locksmith had a book showing where to gain access.

hey man you better tell that old lady to warm up her bank account!!! i had the same exact damage on my evo from a rear ender. no quarter panel wrinkling, no tail light or trunk damage, no inside trunk crumpling. the damages were simply bumper cover and the two posts that connect the bumper cover to the frame. the total was about 3200 bones. the idiot who his me insurance paid for mine in full. have fun and good luck.

Rates don't go up for accidents that aren't your fault.

Or they shouldn't. I know mine don't.

Since you were rear-ended, it is 99.9% that the other driver was at fault. Her insurance company should be paying for the damage. Your rates should not go up unless they pay more than $________ for a claim (usually like $1,000).

I think that is how it works. Also, her insurance company should not you you a hard time with this. If they do, tell them that this is starting to give you a "pain in the neck and back" and they will pay for the damage.
