4K/4mon anniversary thoughts

just hit 4k miles at 4.5 mons and I am still crazy about my IX...car is stock (only got blizzak LM 22s which I put on VIII wheels on permanent basis for winter use here in NJ) and I am not inclined to mod...car handles superbly even during inclement weather... enough torque generally and speed for me...I never had a turbo-charged car before (camaro; 2M6 Fiero; 240sx prior cars) and had some concern about getting used to it; but I just love how it kicks in and feels like a rocket booster when it uncoils...I use it for every day driving and every trip is like a disney ride...my only wishes are for a bit more torque in first gear and a bit less notchy clutch, but these are minor complaints in my mind...I want this car to keep going forever since I am afraid that the future plans mitsu has for the evo will be too radically different from the rallying heritage of this car...thank you mitsu for bringing this great car to the states - I appreciate it

2 months and 3200 miles here. I love my Evo VIII, too. I only wish for cruise control as I do a lot of highway driving.

Have fun in the snow!

We bought our evo at almost the same time and we have the same mile. I added a flash, catback, boost gauge, and radar detector.

I have been waiting for this car since I started driving and have been wanting it ever since. I am so happy with it too! Funny thing is I have been seeing it as a supercar with no flaws and unlimited grip. Reality is a bit different though I am still happy with it.
