Let me be the first to thank you for creating another reason for insurance companies to raise rates on the Evo.

You want to race, track it or autocross. Keep it within reason on the streets.

Dude do some creative thinking and axe the dumpster story and come up with another one. I think this is a more believable story "I was driving and coming through a corner and there was an abandoned baby stroller left in the middle of the road and I had to avoid it all costs because there had to be an inoccent baby in it but I ended up getting owned by the dumpter next to me"

Anyway live and learn, and I would buy your car back and fix it yourself.

sorry to inform you. it is not a generalization it is a fact. If you dont believe me go and look at the dmv accident report files and the ages. Maybe there is a reason that your insurance goes down when you hit 23/25. because untill then that age group is responsible for majority of accidents. sucks when your bubble burst.

I think he has had enough personal attacks guys. It sucks to hear about your car, accidents happen. I'm sure you could make some easy money if you decide to sell your parts if they total it. I dont know where you live or who you are taking it to get the repairs done, but if they said 6 months dont go there. This could take 2 months but not 6. Take it somewhere else!!!

I drive like *** all the time.....I'm willing to bet the surface-deep safe drivers posting in here pull the same stunt this guy did. Sooner or later it will catch up with us all.

Evo insurance is high because parts to fix them are expensive.
