I Want EVO Seats. Will They Fit?
#3
They fit. Another member on another board not discussed here, put an extra set of evo seats in his wife's sti. Easy swap according to him.
Why? After having an sti, and now the evo, I can tell you the evo seats are much more comfortable, on track and on road trips.

why? just wondering, my friend has a STi and I think those seats look good and are just as comfortable as the recaros in the evo. If you get sliders/brackets for the seats and just bolt to the floor should work, might have to rig it a little.

That pic is hilarious, its like i can see the sti going no no no, don't do it, must not circum to the evo, must not circum, must not mutate over to the dark side, hahha, i mean here you have this bright blue sti seat and then you have that black leather ominous recaro seat sitting right there, is any one else laughing at this??

Yes ! Trade seats !
The interior in the STi Suxors... sorry, too much blue. But wait ! wheres the Type-C STi ? Not in america, but if you can find a reseller who will order you the parts from Japan, I'd say re-do your interior with the japanese parts, and use the Evo seats !
Thanks and Nice pics to the guys who shared!
-I'm tired, and need an Evo.

I'd like to even sneak the sti seats back an inch or two, but figure if I'm going to tinker with it, why not go with a nicer seat? Yes, they won't match. I'll live.
The recaro bucket/bottom is much more comfortable for my ***.
SilverLining: Thanks for the pic, its an inspiration. You don't happen to know the person that owns the car, do you? I'm still curious about what the swap entails.
Now I have to find a pair of seats
