strong or weak evo

Waste? Yes you are correct by your definition but i guess all the other guys out there with supra tt's, integra type-r's, the old farts that seem to dominate this region with Sti's, and the older farts with nsx's porches' and every other perforamnce car who dont track them once a month are wasting them. By your definition, you are correct. I enjoy my cars and my bike in different ways. Each of them has there intended purpose and thats twhy i have them. I'm sure i can enjoy the evo more at Lime Rock or Englishtown or Lebanon raceway. But, i enjoy it enough the way i drive it and thats that.

This is the internet, dont assume anything about anyone you dont know. And VW's are nice cars even with the electrical woes so leave em alone.

If you are worried about your car, just leave it stock. No matter what people say, or how often you try to convince yourself everything will be fine, you will still have that anxiety. And its not worth it.
Modding your car goes beyond being able to afford broken parts, its being able to afford broken parts without getting overly upset about it and wanting to use that money somewhere else. For example, a trans-rebuild might cost $1500. There is a lot of stuff you can do with that money, but modders would rather have fun with their car and use that 1500 for repair, than say, make an extra mortgage payment, or go on vacation, or buy a big screen tv, etc. In the end, you have to ask yourself, not just can you afford it, but is it worth it, both mentally and financially.
