I have a Perrin Turbo Back exhaust system with test pipe on my Evo 8, however I am getting rid of my car and my roommate has a stock Evo 9. I am wondering if there will be any holdbacks in switching the exhausts from car to car?

 

i have seen a HKS exhaust work on a evo 9, i had heard some talk about the o2 sensor being in a different spot, but i'm not positive about that. It should work, Let us know how it turns out.

 

catback will fit with no problems, just have to plug the O2 hole on the exhaust because the O2 is in the cat now on the 9. the dp will work also as long as it clears the ACD.

 

The 05 has the ACD too so if it clears it on the 05 it should on the 06.

 

it is the same for HKS, not sure for other brands

 

Your Perrin TBE will work on an 06 EVO IX.

 

All VIII exhausts should fit the IX.

 

not all of them
