Preventing my EVO from getting stolen...bro's S2K almost got stolen last night

I like that idea too....unfortunately in NYS we dont have the "castle doctrine" law, whereby we can use deadly force to protect property, such as a car if its being damaged, broken into or stolen.
I have a 12 ga. Benelli M4 on order which, unfortunately would land me in jail if I killed someone with it, who was trying to steal my car...

that sucks, i thought about how to make my car secure, and i came up w/ something, if you've got an aem ems, you can always switch over to a map that wont make the car start, and leave it like that at night, and when you go turn it on the next day, just upload the good map

How about just a Over all Ecu Cut switch On or off for the ecu power. Hide the switch In a stupid spot they wont look in a rush... And its always good to have that to reset the Ecu for a CEL O_O So when you want it to be safe flip it to Off and when you get back in Turn it back on!

the lojack you are talking about does not notify the police...what does happen is that you are given a little remote box the size of a the pager for viper alarms which fits on the ring with your keys and when your car is moved a certain distance when there is no key in the ignition it vibrates....then you call the cops yourself.
had this & it sucks, constant false alarms, when it trips, lo'jack has an automated message service that calls you & tells you to check your car. so you end up gettingquite a few long distance calls on your cell & typically your car is 2 ft away..... not worth the money or hassle IMO
