Question How much are you NJ/NY/CT guys paying for Evo 8 Insurance?

I was wondering how much you guys in the NY/NJ/CT areas were paying for full coverage insurance on your Evo 8? What company are you with and how much deductible do you have down?

Unfortunately, my State Farm agent claims they have no info on the EVO, so they can't give me a straight answer. What they do is charge a reasonably high fee and then adjust when the real numbers start rolling in. Right now, I'm just below $1000 per year. But, I'm 32, married, with 6 cars (long story) and a house on the policy; clean record for 15 years. I bet I could get lower now that I think about it. But it's hard to give up the insurance policy you've had for 15 years...

Has any ones insurance company had a line item in their computer systems for the Evo specifically? Or is everyone just getting insurance on a $30k Lancer Oz?

SC~ Who's in VA and is paying $1400/ yr total for his Evo, his Mini, and his apt.

geico told me they had it in a list of newly released cars - although on my insurance card it just says and no car type - and it's listed as a replacement vehicle...

My advice? Dump the State Farm/Allstate Co. (high profile) insurance Co. for a lower profile company. I pay $800 @ All America Financial with a solid full coverage plan, a small Tropicana discount a clean driving record (well, fairly clean), and a $250 deductable.
