my evo tracks hard with the semi grooves in the roads here. some of the roads, it's really hard to keep the car tracking correctly. the other one that I test-drove was brand new and had the same issue.
I have 10k miles on my 03 and have had 2 alignments done, one by mitsu (fcked up beyond belief after they were done) and one by the local tire shop that does the auto-x'ers. on a smooth level road, tracks perfectly straight and steers like a go-kart.
agree with the square comment as well. I don't drive mine in the winter, but the couple of cold days that I have taken her out, the tires take a few miles to "feel" right.

Like others have said the pulling might just be from the road. I swear somedays mine pulls a little to the left the to the right, and on nice smooth roads it is fine.
