Awd?

Can someone tell me what are the differences or similarities between the AWD system of EVO and the US WRX?

IS the EVO's system any better?

Thanks,

Besides our superiour suspention setup "our suspention do not require an anti nose lift kit" I believe the WRX has a limited slip rear diff and we have a 1.5 way limited slip rear diff. Basically ripped us off on the Front LSD

also, the evo is 50/50 split, but the wrx is like 70/30 towards front bias, which is as boring as it gets!! the sti will change that.

Actually it is only the automatic transmission Subaru's that have the 70/30 split. The manual transmission cars all have a 50/50 viscious center diff, just like the Evo 8.

But your right about the STi, it gets a driver controlled center differential (DCCD) that works similar to the ACD in the Evo VII. It is adjusted manually by a rotary knob that allows the split to range from 35/65 to 65/35, or it can run in automatic mode.
