new evo, rust on header?

I picked up my new evo about a week ago. I was overwhelmed by excitement that I didn't look over the car carefully. I noticed when I got home that the header has rust all over it. Is this normal for a new car? I know none of my other new cars did. I was also disappointed that it had 35 miles on it. The dealer traded with another dealer to get the one I wanted so I wasn't told what miles were on it. I assumed it would have less than 5 or so because dealers don't do test drives or atleast most dealers dont. Am I just being ****?

mine had 4 miles on it and rust on the manifold. I was surprised also, until i forgot it had a hole in the hood. Water falls on the manifold.

just don't try to do anything overly protective. one guy on the forum was afraid to get water in there through the hood vent, so he put a towel under the hood vent when he was washing the car. then he forgot to remove the towel and drove around...needless to say, he had fire engulf his engine compartment. what he didn't think about is that rain will get there anyway, it's the same as washing the car.

those miles came from driving the car from dealer to dealer.
