Its probably not totaled though. I am taking it to get a quote tonight though, I will let you guys know what he thinks, he will probably have to inspect it a couple days though.

Your car is no where near totalled. Your looking at about $6-9$g's to fix assuming theirs no extensive hidden damage or mechanical damage. Good luck reasoning with an insurance company into getting aftermarket parts, Ive heard of rare occurences, but most of the time they wont do it, even if its cheaper...

So far the only visible damages I found were the bumpers, hood, intercooler and piping, oil cooler, radiator, fan, and exhaust. I talked to the body shop about doing aftermarket and he said it shouldn't be a problem, so we shall see

Get it fix back to stock, then trade it in for a IX. That car is gonna fall apart if you drive it on rough road. Or just tell them to call it total and give you your money so you can upgrade. Aint nothing better than a brand new evo, it dont matter how good they fix it junk is junk.

To me it doesn't really look that bad, but then again there always can be other damage that you can't see. Guess you will just have to wait and see what the body shop says. Good luck either way.

Your an idiot. Thats a perfectly fine car... why should he take a loss for something a drunk ******* did? LOL fall apart... did you know when their is frame damage, which I dought he has...good body shops usually put the car back better than factory specs. This isnt the 1950's, we have unibodys cars these days for a reason.

Very possibly, some body shops have authorization to order what they want without questioning the insurance company.I really dont think it will be over $10g. Good luck with whatever happens.
