POLL: Exhaust Angled or Straight

Simple question, do people prefer to have aftermarket exhaust stick out sideways JDM style or straight out the back.

I'm thinking of rebuilding my exhaust and looking for some input

I have the HKS Hi-Power full exhaust with turbo xs downpipe and it comes out at an angle. I love it! I think it gives the car a much more aftermarked "hooked up" look. But to each their own. Just try and look at a few in person and decide for yourself. Oh and a must for evo people with aftermarked exhaust is those carbon fiber rear bumper exhaust covers. Good luck

Oh gosh, go at an angle. My JIC is and it just looks so sexy. Also when driving behind another evo, and you can just see their exhaust come out like that, its just a beautiful thing!

i believe there is one more bend for it coming straight out as opposed to angled.... just something to think about... plus an angled exhaust w/ a evo ix bumper look HOT

I'm partial to straight, I couldn't really say why but I like it better than the angled one.

go with whatever works for you! both angled and straight are pretty popular--either way you're good.

I prefer the straight exhaust but for some reason I ended up with an angled exit one on my car.

IF the angled exhaust is because the piping is straighter from the turbo-back, then go with that. You want as little bends in the exhaust as possible.

Although I have yet to do it on any of my cars...I do love the angled look. As long as its functional.....i'd nix the idea if it created more bends/restrictions.
