false badging

Ok, I'm on my way to work this morning and I see an inifiniti g35.

I was just driving along and I was looking at his dark tint job at first, and then I got a closer look at the back of his car. where it should have said "infiniti" it was rebadged with "SKYLINE" i was like WTF THAT'S NOT A SKYLINE. Should this have annoyed me so much? I mean you don't see cobalt drivers rebadging the back to say corvette. The little rebadge made a car which I thought was pleasant to look at, into something that wanted to make me hurl at the falseness involved.

Do a lot of lancer peeps put the UK evolution badges on their cars too?

It is a Skyline... now if it said Skyline GT-R that would be a different story.

He is right the g35 here is the regular skyline in japan. The GTR is a different story, so there is nothing wrong with the badging if it only says skyline.....

it actually said G35GT on the top right of the back of the trunk lid. Is it really a skyline? I thought the skyline wasn't coming out till 07ish.

maybe i'm just too critical when it comes to badges.

I also think it would have looked better without the g35 on it and just the skyline part.

There's one of those running around my town-HUGE GT-R emblem-sounds and looks stock otherwise.

That's it, I'm getting a FQ400 badge!

On a similar not the UK badging for the EVO looks a lot Better than the US Shiny Chrome badges in my opinion.

well if you have more knowledge about nissan you wont even start a post like this

few years back nissan has said the Skyline and GT-R will become two differnt cars
as the us market G35 is badge as Skyline in Japan so all the person did was using Japanese badge just like many EVO owner using UK badges

Its kinda like guys putting honda badges on acura's, because in Japan its all Honda and as most everyone knows people love the jdm look!!! So you cant be to mad at the guy I mean technically it is a Skyline but we get to have it as the G35...on a side note I saw a Mustand GT with Nissian GT-R emblems on each fender, now thats something to be pissed about!

btw do you think people in Japan oogle over usdm stuff??.... riiight

I dont think Lancer owners do this. They do put on evo vii body kits but other than that they dont put evo badges. They already have lancer badges...but they generally just shave the whole trunk. Infiniti G35 is a Skyline in Japan. So its not much different than evo owners putting JDM badges of Evolution GSR on their trunks.

That's the spirit.

I'm getting pink STI stickers for my front bumper! no one will ever know!

This also reminds me to the really stupid mustang video where the guy had a gt-r badge on it.
