Any first hand experience out there?

I need to know if its logical to rebuild or buy new tranny..

But as long as it will solve my 4th to 5th grind i'll take it as my first opt.

What year is your car? I have a 2005 and no grinding issues. Sounds like your 5th gear synchro is bad.

There is a work bulletin on that, take it to the dealership for a warranty! Look at my car, I drove it in looking like that, and they covered it!!! No more grind for me!! Doesnt matter if you modded it, they have to cover it, it came out bad from the factory regardless of the mods.

Lucky you..

Last year broke my shift fork.. saw my mods... denied everything.

I wont count on bastard mitsu anymore..

I wouldnt be surprise if they black listed my car w/ warranty.
At least that what it sounds like after my conversation w/ d*ck head serv. mgr.

Currently, trans is ready to ship...unless, anyone can confirm me that grinding

will be eliminated..i will hold it. Always believe on previous customer's experience.

I think AMS sends their tranny to Shepard. He is pretty much the industry standard when it comes to trannies. (mitsu's)
