If I drive my Evo for a long period of time like 1400 miles in a 3 day weekend I get used to the power But during the week I usually drive my 98' 2.0 sohc 3-speed automatic Plymouth Neon that has 145,000 miles so come Friday my Evo feels fricking Redickalas again.

My 9 is much slower than my previous STi. With 100 octane, it was just over 400 awhp! I know for a fact with the same amount of money, the 9 would destroy my old STi. The EVO wasn't meant to be a daily driver, but it is such a fun car to drive, I am finding myself driving it more than my beater.

My car feels slow to me know. Riding in my buddy's 490whp GTO doesn't help that. However after I drive the wife's Mini for a day or two my car feels pretty quick again.

I've been driving and riding in only sports cars for so long that I'm literally scared to ride in any car with stock suspension, average braking, or mediocre acceleration. I really don't like driving anything other than a sports car either. Too clumsy for me with all of the body roll, et cetera.
If everyone drove cars as responsive as the Evo, and actually knew how to drive them and control them properly, the roads would be much more safe. Wouldn't that be sweet!?

i went from a ranger to an EVO and boy is there a difference!!!
Just in 5th gear you can not have to constantly downshift to get up the small hills...it brings back pleasure to driving rather than always wondering if youll make it up a hill without downshifting to 3rd lol.

Actually for me, the Evo has gotten me addicted to speed. Even rollercosters don't have the same effect. Even bought a motorcycle to keep my heart pumping.
Infact a couple of friends and I are planning a parachute jump this summer.
But when I was a kid I always wanted to fly and F-16 jet.

Slightly less body roll?
Understatement

I've driven some gnarly *** Evos and I have to say that you can get used to it, but just jump in my 78 VW Bus and drive around. Then jump out back into an Evo and you'll be grinning from ear to ear again.
