How many of you are used to your cars power levels?

Up until today I have always thought that either my car got slower or I got used to it. I had the oppurtunity to ride in a stock Evo9 from a member of this forum and wow, what a big difference between a stock Evo9 and a Dynoflashed Evo9 (mine). I had forgotten what a stock Evo9 felt like and thought that my car was performing like a stock car if not worse....boy was I wrong! I let him ride in my car and he immediately felt the difference as well, needless to say I think I just gave Al more business.

I'm just glad I had the oppurtunity to rekindle the sensation I had when I first got my car reflashed. It was like a night and day difference and I had totally forgotten how it felt. I just wish every week I could drive a stock Evo9 so the sensation doesn't wear off! All in all, I had a great time with Greg (Wrath) from this forum and hope to meet other local people as well in this great community.

Modding Evo's is a dangerous addiction and a vicious cycle! You just want more, more and more!

Every day that goes by my car seems slower and slower. I drove my roomates mildly modded WRX and boy was it a reminder of the caliber of car we drive.

Whenever I feel it getting slow I drive my wife’s 91 Accord and everything feels fast again

Unfortunately this is having a diminishing effect every time I do it requiring me to drive the Honda (ouch) for longer and longer periods of time

Every now and then you need to drive another car to recalibrate the butt dyno. Driving my wife's honda element once a week seems to work good for me.

My "rekindle the flame" car is either my wife's Prius or her Echo... Polar opposites of the Evo. After pushing the accelerator in that car, riding a bicycle seems fast

My car has been down for nearly 6 months now and on jacks in the garage just waiting for a warranty part (transmission) and I have been driving my 91 honda accord. My part has finally arrived and I can't wait to start piecing my love back together. I especially can't wait to see what it feels like with all the goodies I put on it from all the down time.
