Any EVO IX owners our there still running without an alarm system? I really need to get one installed but I'm afraid of having some dirt bag tearing into my brand new MR.

 

Alarm? Forget it, if someone steal my Evo, I don't want it back.

I can't see a reason to get alarm unless you have upgraded the stereo system or something like that. An alarm won't stop someone from breaking in, it just makes it harder for them to get away with it. The car has an immobilzer, so you don't have to worry much about kids jacking the car for a joyride. A professional thief will get your car no matter what you do. Keep the money or put it towards a mod. Just my opinion.

 

Just pay for extra theft insurance. That way if it does get stolen you get a new one.

i got my car jacked at gun point and got it back a 2 days later, he blew the UICP and left it by the freeway. nothing was taken.
Then a month later it was broken into and they stole my Reacaros and f up my defi life sucks but its all good now got some used Reacaros for 5bills and slaped those on, fixed my gauge and wasted the money on parts from the insurance
