my insurance (geico) went from 600 for 6 months to 1021 for 6 months... I have one not-at-fault accident from a previous car (+ anther non-at-fault with the wife), and NO ****ing tickets in over 4 yrs... I am 28, married. the change was due to the category the car is in, like others have noted.
I am pissed.

with all this!
My insurance on my 06 sti is $70 more than my 04 evo was!
I guess Chase called my insurance company and told them they saved me $100 in payment per month and they increased it.
All in all I got a new car, pay more insurance, less for the car and still have 3 points left.

I cannot believe what some of you guys pay just in insurance. I like the car but no way in hell I would be tossing $300/month down the drain on car insurance. I'm only paying $310/6.

I just got my six month premium last week and mine went up to $1,100 every six months. It was 1,008. It's now a symbol 24, the same as a Chevy Corvette.
