Cosmetic Difference B/W JDM/USDM Evo8
Hey guys I was wondering cosmetically what the difference is between JDM and USDM Straight Evo8's.
Exterior:
Headlamp/Taillamps/Sidemarkers?
Wheels?
Interior:
RHD vs. LHD.
Thanks!

they have ayc, amber on the bottom of the heads/tails (black housing). sidemarkers are the same. shorter bumper. interior is same cept for the climate controls. they have electronic climate control. different lookn knobs. and the option for a double din from the factory.

Externally, the only difference is the rear bumper and the headlights + taillights, the japanese cars have amber signals whereas ours are more white. Oddly enough because it's JDM people will swap for the amber signals just to appear more "JDM". I am sure if it were reversed the same would happen.
On the inside the JDM car is RHD, and also GSR models have a double DIN radio opening with the HVAC controls relocated to below, where the pocket is on our cars. Also, GSR's have automatic climate control, possibly the most useless luxury feature installed on a car. Seats are much narrower and have an extra strip of contrasting fabric between the blue cloth and black borders. Transmission is six speed and there is an "Evolution" badge below the shifter:
This car has the optional nav system, which obviously doesn't show the Double DIN standard dash, but you can see the other differences.
