"Senior Road Test Editor Josh Jacquot says:"

So that's where he went. Sport Compact Car sucks under the helm of this new Tate dude.

I love these comparisons when they come out on top. I found one that they did on the 2003-05 Evo and the 2003-05 STi/Wrx and they had their own pros and cons on each car. I about cried lol

Good read

Great article, the EVO IX pretty much wiped the floor with the STI, I love the part where they are questioning the STIs power rating, LOL.

Why? Everyone I know with automatic climate control messes with it more than I mess with my manual setup. Automatic climate control forces you to think in terms of degrees rather than "hot" or "cold" which is really how humans feel temperature anyway. I don't sit in my car and think, "I want it to be exactly 72 degrees in here," I just want a certain level of hot or cold coming out of the vents at a certain rate, which is what my climate control lets me do with ease.

thanks for the post, this seems like a very typical evo vs. sti article. How did they disable the 5,500rpm limiter in the Evo, do you guys know?

Also I thought this comment was a little funny, "The Evo exhibited more body roll than the STi but was easier to rotate" Its like they got it switched, both cars arnt soft but the Evo is the stiffer one, then the STi power split is quite easy to rotate... I dont get that comment. Anyway thanks for the post.

Nice. I'm glad that somebody used a regular IX and not the IX MR for a comparison test. Good read.

EDIT: Did anyone notice how the narrator in the video said it had "271 hp"?
