More fule for the fire
OK, this is even news to me. (and yes i relaize every dealer says something different, I figured I ought to share some info). The salesman I bought my OZ from was at the Chicago auto show today, and when I was talking to him he presented some off info to me. He said that Mitsu will be bringing the EVO 8 (?!?!?!?!) to the US some time soon, and that its attributes would be close to a lower spec of the EVO 7 (GTA?!?). Thats all he knew, and when I asked if he meant the EVO 7, he said "no, the EVO 8." DOes anyone know about a friggin EVO 8??? This drama just keeps on rolling.......Oh yea, that red EVO 7 was nice at the auto show, most definately a Japanese version though. If the right hand drive didnt give it away, the Japanese warnign labels on the interior surely did. Thats all I got....

Two doors...now that'd be a mind job and a half. I'd be interested in seeing design schematics...That'd also mean they're putting out a new...er..."base" car that the Evo would be based on...or the Evo is finally going to become a machine all unto its own (if it isn't already).

Agreed. Looks sorta like the Impreza coupes did as far as general profile and length. I much prefer the 4 door look, and sport sedans over coupes, but I can't say I'd turn a two door down if it were presented to me.

Just curious, did you make that in Photoshop or something?? If so NICE WORK !!
My opinion, bring them both, Coupe and sedan.
P.S. Make mine a Sedan, and as bright yellow as this smilie.

thanks guys.
I made it in Photoshop. Yeah it sort of looks like the older Impreza coupe. That's what I was aiming for, because that's one car that looks nice in both coupe and sedan form. I had to slant the front windshield and rear glass, make the doors longer, shorten the wheelbase, lower the car, and etc. etc.
