OK, that's how to get the sticky residue off...now what about pulling the badge off in the first place? Did you just yank it off?

My two cents on removing the goo:

Detailing Clay. Works great for tar, sap, whatnot. I always keep some handy in the garage for detailing.

If I'm not mistaken I believe you can probably email the the guys at www.japanparts.com and work something out on a replacement trunk lid for the Evo VII then just pull the emblem off and stick it on your own trunk. I know someone else has already done this but I don't have the time to find the original post with pictures.

Crap Shoot - I used a hair drier on high setting and held it about 1 foot away from the badge. I slowly lifted the left side of the badge off as the goo behind the badge heated up alittle. Then, while gently pulling with my left hand, i kept the blow drier pointed towards to badge with my right hand. I just kep pulling with my left hand until the whole badge was off! From what I can tell, this wasnt bad on the paint or anything...

What do you guys suggest is the best way to take off the dealer name stickers? I really don't mind the Lancer Evolution badges but i could do without the dealer name and town. Whats a good way to take that off without scractching up the paint?

thanks
