V6 evo?

i kno it would probly never ever happen, but if cost wasnt important, could mitsu put a v6 into an evo and keep the turbo? if it acually works it would be pretty sick..any comments?

the 3g eclipse gt when turbo'dcould only push about 8 psi before the engine would blow. Even with it fully built maybe 12 psi, it really didn't respond well to turbo. I don't think mitsu would do it but who knows

mitsu's 6g72tt was a decent engine. Never really was as popular as its counterparts from nissan RB26DETT or toyotas JZ???TT(supra TT)

We dont need a V-6 evo, we need another 6 cylinder GT car in the line up, bring back the GTO or maybe something new in the line.

It won't ever happen due to Group N homologation requirements, it's not a cost thing.

If by V6 TT you mean a GT car in the likes of the 3000GT.. it's probably unlikely to happen anytime soon. The Evo, while in the shadow of the 3000GT for most of it's life (unfairly, I might add), is now Mitsu's flagship sports car. While we might see some V6 coupes (ala Eclipse) I doubt we'll be seeing another hipo V6 engine car. Like someone mentioned, the Evo will never get a V6 due to Group N requirements.

Man v6??? throw a V8 in there with a Tornado in the Intake pipe and you got a bad *** car. I wonder if that would throw the MAF off...?

Oh and with a v6 evo we ll get a whole set of new, "which BOV threads", "How to save gas threads"

Are you serious?

Again, V6 in an Evo will never happen to due Group N regulations.

While Evos may never get one, a factory mitsu V6 TT has been on the market since a decade ago, from 1996 on.
It's a 6a13TT, heres pics from my old one.

A V6 block is significanly heavier than an IL4 block...
