Talking Sick of your loud exhaust..check this out. pics

Well I have a full 3" turbo back Turbo XS. Also no cat. The noise has been driving me nuts.. So I made a mod to the rear section of the factory exhaust.
Its nice and quiet and I can bet that I only lost about 10 hp. The car still holds 25psi to redline and feels great...When the snow melts I will go to Turbotrix and dyno the car and post results....

Love to see a before and after dyno sheet. If your still making good power then I'll put my stock muffler back on.

wierd. ... er i mean word. kinda cool.
but why?
Thats what silencers are made for
i can't see it being for a "sleeper" affect. so why loose 10 hp all the time, when you could use a silencer when your just cruising the streets. then go to the track and gain 10hp in a second.

Well here in NY cops bust ***** all the time for loud exhaust. And with no cat on the car why
take a chance for a really BIG fine.....It still feels the same as with the Turbo XS and now its quiet.

If you want a high flow quiet muffler then look into getting a Apex-i WS muffler a la carte. This will retain the flow and kill the sound.
