Wheels out of balance
Here in Philly we had a snow storm like everyone else in the NE. The funny thing that happened to me is I was driving on the highway after going through the unplowed streets my car frontend started to shake like the wheels were unbalanced. I thought the weights have fell off but i checked and they where still there. I noteced the EVO 8 rims had a lot of snow and ice on them so i pushed them all out and got back on the highway and the car drove perfect no more front end shake. That is the wierdiest thing I experienced some snow and ice made my wheels out of balance. Also I got a P0138 code too, dam POS 02 sensor, hope warranty covers it.

holy freakin crap!!
I've experienced the exact same feeling today!
Hastle after hastle, I managed to get my car out of the snow,,
I get on the highway and around 80mph, it starts to shake like crazy,,
I mean I could feel the vibration on my steering wheel and I thought 'F@#K, I must have hit a curb or something while gettin out of the snow, but then after a while it was all fine..
No code was shown though..
weird..

snow get inside the rim, snow is heavy and it will cause and imbalance. All that is needed to throw a tire out of balance is a half ounce or so and the wheel will shimmy. Then...the snow melts from the inside of the wheel when it gets hot, and voila, shaking is gone.

I have the same thing... its the snow built up in the wheel well... when you speed up the tires expand therefore you pack down the snow in the wheel well and notice it at high speeds...

O yea and the wires on your 02 sensor were most likely damaged from all of the snow dragging along the undercarriage.... the wires are hanging right there on the midpipe... i didnt get a cel though and I drove in some deep stuff yesterday...
