Carbon fiber shortage
I have been waiting for my C/F trunk for two months now and VIS say's they have been waiting on a shipment since October anyone elso waiting on C/F hoods, trunks, ect. or am I the only one. Please someone else feel my pain I don't want to be alone any more (besides the voices in my head) that is

yes there is a carbon shortage. we haven't had any problems because we got ours last year and sense we don't manufacture parts comercially it hasn't effected us, but other FSAE teams have felt the pinch. i would imagine small time commercial ventures would also feel the pinch. (it is boeing and other plane manufacturers buying up all the composite material for their jets)
