I'm transporting my car tomorrow from Lexington, KY to San Jose, CA. I called bunch of different transporter but they are all around $1100. +$400 if it's enclosed. I was thinking about getting enclosed but the sales guy said it's usually used for show cars.
It'll take about 5-8 days to get there after pick up.
My suggestion is to pick the one that one truck takes from the door to door. Less chance of getting damaged.
I might put a lot of masking tape if it's going in the very front of the trailer.
