Kartboy Shifter cable bushings do not fit the IX MR
So I received my Kartboy bushings in the mail yesterday afternoon and proceeded to install them.
Evo IX MR 6-speed for reference.
Every bushing installed correctly, except the largest bushing for the shifter to transmission cable. The bushings are far too large to fit into the cable that is positioned vertically. Also, there is no washer, the bushing has a washer built into it that cannot be removed, and the clip used to secure it is different than the horizontal bushing.
Anyone else experience issues with the large shifter cable bushing on their IX MR?

I have read some speculation that the MR and/or 6-speed equipped cars (some non-US Spec) actually use two of the smaller bushings instead of one large and one small.
I don't know how much truth there is to that, but it might be a good place to start investigating.
