UV protection had nothing to do with my wing problem. The gel coat started to come off, for lack of a better term. Not to say the clear bra wouldn't help, but I don't think it's a UV issue. If it was Mitsu wouldn't have replaced mine, since it states in the owners manual to wax the wing regularly with a wax containing UV protection (which I did religiously). I hope it does work though.

I'll keep you guys posted. We're suppose to be fitting it next weekend. I'll post some pics of how the install goes. Should be a good thing for keeping wings in good shape.

i'm guessing the IX wing feels a little flimsier due to it being hollow?
