i love walking up to my car from 200 feet back. the further away, the more purple the paint appears. it looks sooo hot all alone under that street lamp at dusk shifting from purple to indigo to blue. mmmmm

and i loved driving his 350z when my boyfriend drove the evo... its always nice to see your own car going on the road, the way the wheels turn, how the hid's bounce. that car looks soooo mean coming up behind you... and it gets REAL big, real fast in the rearview.

always good to hear how the car sounds from a different driver seat on the street.

this thread cracks me up, especially the UNICORn but i'm waiting till someone mentions a mermaid.

anyway, eventhough i'm not an evo owner just yet, to me, everytime i see someone or my friend drives their evo, i fantasize about it. just like me seeing some hot babe with their bf. wishing i could be that lucky bastard. especially when my friends let me drive his evo, man it feels great, same adrenaline when i'm about to have sex with a women i just dated for a week .

I do the same thing. When I see another Evo on the road i'm like wow i'm driving that! It's different when your always inside the car.

And now it's going on two weeks that I havn't had my car, since it's at the dealer. I'm driving a Galant loaner car now.

I miss my car. haha

I feel that way sometimes about my car, but when i do a photoshoot or wash my car by hand it gives me more of an appreciation, because i get to study my car close up and really see the beauty again. Or like that candy coated smooth feeling when i give my newly waxed ralliart the final wipedown, that's love. basically whenever i take care of my car by cleaning it, it makes it feel a little more like new.

The metaphor works here, believe it or not. A unicorn is mythical and otherwordly. I occassionally have felt that somewhat mystical feeling when I saw an Evo on the road (before I owned one). For me there was so much hype and mystique surrounding the car that I'd get that "oooooh, ahhhhhh" feeling whenever I saw one. Now that I own one, well, the feeling is still there to some extent.

Whenever I see another evo it looks so much cleaner than mine......well thats probably because most of the time it is.
