HKS BOV poped off!!
I posted in the install section but theres like no one in there so i posted here too.
I just got the hks blow off valve with the extra pipe and installed it my self. i couldnt mount the blow off valve on flange tho cuz that c clip was givin me some trouble.. so i took it back to the place i bought it and just had them mount the bov on the pipe. i took it home put it on the car and connected the bov hose back to teh blow off valve... i was done installing it... i started the car, then gave the car a couple of revs.. it sounded great and in working order... i took it out and drove it carefully. after about 5 minutes of that i tried to go a little faster and i gave it some gas in second, shifted to third and POP!!! i and i hear a clinging on the street. my BOV poped off the pipe!!! and i lost the O ring... any advice on what i should do now??

Yes, I remember when I had the HKS BOV. The flange was motherFu__cker to put on, but I got it on and it worked perfectly until I sold it. But in my opinion on the HKS: I did not have the mods and still don't to get the best out of this BOV. I used a pair of needle nose pliers and some hard *** elbow grease to get it on LOL. You can buy another adapter for it on ebay.

go to sears and buy a pair of snap ring pliers for $15 and return them when you're done. they work wonders on the clip. they have little protrusions that go through the tiny holes on the snap ring and can close the ring till the ends are touching no problem. anytime you work on your car, you'd be suprised the difference in time and effort when you have the proper tools.
