A friend of mine just got a used WW 2003 from a dealer somewhere in NJ. It has 13k miles, black headlights and tail lights(painted), vortex generator, short antenna, DNP turbo manifold, MBC and non-oem brembo front calipers.

We are just curious if the previous owner had a flash on his ecu. Maybe any other info on the car could help too. Thanks

 

Good luck finding the owner. The chances he's on these boards is pretty slim.

 

Possibly a definate (North, South, Mid?) location in NJ may at least turn up somebody that knows somebody that might know.

 

Maybe he was on this forum when he/she still owned the Evo, but after he/she sold it, the chance is he/she won't come back here.

 

he's got a longshot they could've traded in towards an IX lol.

 

The stealership told him that it was traded in for a IX. It looks like he took off a lot of mods before the trade in to possibly use for a IX.

 

good luck finding who had the car before you, i actually did the same thing you did and found someone who knew the guy that had my evo before me. it can work out!

 

It's possible, I work with the guy that I bought mine from...like stealing candy from a baby!!

 

I think that was my car. The car have TT flash, MBC and 264s. Best of all, it have a quaife LSD in there. When I trade my car in, it have the stock Brembo brakes though.
