I hold 24 psi all the way to 7800rpm i use to run this with stock cams and with the 280's now. Its ok man dont worry about it and you also dont need a wideband if your cars ecu has never been touched with a flash you dont have to wory about your afr because it will always run a lil rich so its safe to run that psi without hurting anything.

the check engine light will only come on if there is a major problem overboosting or fuel cut wont set it off and if it does the car will go in safe mode so dont worry about it

Keep it safe, for the sake of your car. I'd rather sacrafice a few HP than start destroying stuff!

You know I have a question though. I just got a boost gauge and my car is bone stock, it has 3k on it right now. I don't plan on touching it past a catback and a drop in K&N filter, but my boost spikes to 24 psi all the time. Now if my car is running 24 psi from the factory why in the hell would I need to put a boost controller on it to control the boost. I'm trying to keep my warranty and a boost controller is a no-no for me.

The gauge is likely wrong then, because there's no way you are going around boosting 24psi all the time without an exhaust to release the backpressure. Maybe you briefly hit an artificial spike to 24psi in 5th gear? Your stock boost is 20psi, which is regulated by the stock BCS. It also tapers way down to 16psi right away. The MBC allows you to raise the peak boost while also removing a significant amount of the taper. You've already said an MBC is a no-no for you, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Some of the advice I read makes my stomach turn sometimes. 12.5a/f is not safe for pumpgas and 20+psi. If you think so, run it and join the ranks of the guys pushing a rod out the side of their block from a spun bearing.
