Im in the auto glass business in MA. I know things are a little different from state to state but check with you ins company. The 1000 ded usually applys to body damage and there is a different ded for glass. ( $0 ded in mass). As far as what you can use, they are all the same, even the front windshield. If you end up paying cash for it just say its a lancer. It will be alot easier than trying to explain what an evo is.
FYI anyone looking to junkyards or wrecked lancers/evos for glass, I wouldnt recommend using the windshield. They are always pitted and have small scratches from the wiper blades. No warranty on the windshield either. If it brakes putting it in your screwed.
1 more thing, anybody can put their own door glass in. Its only 2 10mm bolts holding it in. If your looking to save a buck do it yourself.

Yep, change the glass yourself so you are sure to get all of the pieces out of the bottom of the door and then move somewhere with a garage. Just the thought of leaving my Evo outside makes me cringe.

Man I remeber stuff like that, someone would break one of your windows to test to see if you had an alarm, if you didnt they'd come back in about a week and rob you blind...
