yea i had one a few years back, in my old town of 150,000ppl the police used 4 different channels. it got really annoying, mainly because you would hear them report their location every minute or so...pretty useless to use for speeding imo, but it was fun listening to stuff before it hit the rack the next day

 

How about you don't race? It's not safe, and you can go to prision if you kill someone

 

from what i know police scanners are illegal in florida. but i know some people do have them. it would be better off just getting a good radar detector and calling it a day.
