WHP and WTQ correct?

I just recently installed HKS 272/272's, AEM gears, and SAFC II to my EVO. I am making about 292WHP and 241WTQ with the AFR in the high 11's (on a mustang dyno). Before we put those parts in, I had we put in on the dyno and it was making 258WHP and 234WTQ with the apexi power intake, 3"TBE, and Greddy boost controller(20psi). The tq only gained about 7WTQ in total but it seemed that the stock cams dropped early whereas the HKS kept pulling to the flatter 241. Can you guys please tell me if these numbers are correct? I am also going to the track this friday, what do you think I will run with this set up?

The torque numbers are awful, but that's what you get for using an SAFC...

If you haven't tune your car then everything is posible. I walked in a Dyno Dynamic Dyno with a WRX untuned and $6000 in parts and 211whp and a lot of smoke, after the tuning I ended with 280WHP and no smoke.

The secret could be in the tuning.

Depending on how the Mustang dyno is setup, those are pretty good HP numbers. The torque does seem pretty low, even for a SAFC setup.

I wish I can scan the sheets for you guys to see. From 4600RPM to 7000RPM it makes about 30lbs more than before. Does that help? What type of track numbers can I expect Warrtalon?

NO way to know, because I don't know how that MD reads. If you made 294whp on Buschur's MD, you'd trap about 115mph, but I have a feeling that won't be the case...

so what should I do to get the tq up? 750cc injectors and a fuel pump so I can get the boost up to around 25?

You should really have a fuel pump already with those mods so I would stress getting one.

Who tuned your SAFC? Who's mustang dyno?

Some more boost would help with your trq number. You could at least go to 21psi, that will help with peak trq.

Injectors will make tuning the peak trq area a little easier with the SAFC. You can do it with stock injectors, it's just a little trickier.

You gaining 30wtq over the curve area is a good improvement, although we don't know what shape your car was in before. (If it was tuned or not)

No, man, adding fuel mods doesn't make you suddenly able to run big boost like that. You are limited by octane. You could have ever fuel mod in the book, but you still can't run more boost than your pump gas allows. why are you doing this the hard way with the SAFC and wanting to mess with your perfectly-fine injectors? If you had even a base mail-in dynoflash, your WTQ would have been equal to your WHP all for only $199. You definitely should already have a fuel pump, though, so please add that, but your tune has to be awful, because I've never seen a 50 point differential between WHP and WTQ on an Evo. 20-25 point difference with an SAFC is expected, but not 50.

You've been asked already - who tuned it and whose MD is it? You shouldn't already be to the point of adding major mods like cams if you don't even know anything about tuning. You should have taken it slowly and learned first, because right now, your car isn't in good shape.
