No it wouldnt. Looking up the VIN on a mitsu computer will show you everytime the car was brought in and what was done to it. Unfortunately this only will track when it was brought in to a mitsu dealership.

But did they tell you the work history? or tell you if it is "flagged" or not?

They told me no warrenty work was done on that VIN and that the warrenty was still valid for the VIN.

The Lions are my second favorite team, being I lived in the Detroit area for 26 years. The problem with the Lions is they have won 1 playoff game since I have been alive 36 years.

Nice try. We aren't as bad you think!!

elhalisf,

Bad news. The only thing out of line on yours is that it has a salvage title. It has been rebuilt and that means NO warranty coverage. Recalls still apply but that is all. As for history the only thing there is the PDI and the 5K service.

And I didn't charge you a dime did I?

actually, i made this post knowing you might have some info, and you did. thanx for that.
it sucks though, because i thought that TSB would be done even if the car is out of warranty. guess not. getting the 5 gear grind

A TSB is only an updated repair procedure and a recall is only on safety items. Sorry man....
