well.....the last thing I would do to someone without a license who is about to be tested, especially one with little to NO experience, is let them drive my modified evo....HELL ....I wouldn't let that someone drive a stock evo for that matter! I do not sympathize for you AND you are a jackass.....PERIOD......

I bet you're happy you started this thread......jackass....

So we drove around the block and he drove to the test center and everything went really smooth. And I also told him that you have never driven anything like this before, he gave me that disgusted look.

As I watch the old man and the instructor leave the parking lot I was praying that nothing happens and I am also getting really scared. After maybe 2 mins they came back, so that was a relief. The instructor approach me and ask me if this is my car, I said yes. He then told that the old man failed becuase he was going 70+ on a 35 and that my car was too much for him to handle safely. The instructor told me that I am crazy to let someone barrow a high performance vehicle and considering he does't even have a license. The old man started **** talking and said that the instructor was a scared and all this bull**** and said he will get his license nextime. At this point I am so mad that I just wanna yell at him but I still respect my elders. I just told him yeah nextime you will get it, but not in my car.
Awee yes you must be a filipino too huh? I know cause I live in a a neighborhood full of them and I know how they operate. I will say that they are very family oriented and they stick to their own.

Also all filipinos must respect all their elders and they call them uncles even though they arent related.

KNowing this it does not suprise me that this happened. What you filipinos need to learn is that if that ole man wants a license he needs to get it on his own merit. Tell him kindly here in america you work and you better your own life. Do NOT expect a handout(ie letting him use your 30thousand dollar car for a freaking driving test!). Many filipino families becasue they are close the parents end up buying their kids cars and paying for all their bills. This does not teach a young person responsibility.

NEVER LET ANYONE ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WITH NO LICENSE DRIVE YOUR EVO.

man, you chill on the filipino BS dude. You should know there is a pretty strickt policy about racial mubojumbo here. If I where you, wich I am not, I would edit that post. but I completely agree that you should never let someone drive an EVO for their drivers licence, that is just nuts!

Its not filipino BS if it is true WHICH IT PREDOMINANTLY is. I see it day in and day out.

And this is not prejudiceness, racial, or anything else you may want to describe it. It is the truth. Just like muslims are usually the kind of people who attribute and cause acts of terror. Oh no that was a racial mumbojumbo. No its called the truth deal with it.

Maybe its called racial profiling which would be the politically correct terminology for my truthful anacdotes. But if they are true then whats the problem with them?

Alright, well this going downhill fast. Let me step in here and see if I can keep this thread from getting locked. Not that it would be a tragedy as it is a pretty weak story. Divert your attention from the racial stereotyping that may or may not be happening.

If I were you I would have rented a car for that day. You can get a focus for about $40. Let the old man beat on that while taking his test. It's cheaper than a clutch.

I was not trying to flame you skilmatic, just reminding you of the forum policy. And I have no problems dealing with the truth, I am just careful about posting my opinion on flameable topics. I just care about my access to EvoM and thought you might to.

Thats fair enough. And I appreciate your concerns and friendly reminders. I wasnt trying to flame either if it sounded like it then I am sorry. I was trying to give people insight why someone would do such a stupid thing. Meaning I was actuallytrying to keep him from getting flamed if people knew how the pinoy culture works then they would be alittle easier on him.

Truthful anecdotes is not the same as stereotyping. Get that through your head. And no I dont speak tagologue I refuse to learn that jiberish. Now japanese or korean is what I am talking about, or even madarin.

Yu want to hear stereo typing? Wellheres a stereotype like anecdote.

Black people always use welfare. Now thats an example of stereotyping. First off I dont beleive this and second this is definitely false. Thirdly welfare is used by many different ethnic groups. Now thats an example of stereotyping. IS IT CLEAR NOW?

Yeah and your case may now rest in peace. hahaaha

I just told you how filipinos operate much like how I would tell you how an engine operates. This is not stereotyping unless you want to call an explanation on how compression works a stereotype as well.

first thing, old filipinos are crazy when it comes to driving. in the PI, we don't give a $#!t about traffic laws. a three lane road becomes 6 or 7 lanes and that's normal there.
my dad had to take the exam twice coz of that same thing (speeding). the thing is "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" lol
